Description: Taking Barthes's essay "The Death of the Author" as a starting point, this iMovie claims...
that Kathy Acker, Derrida, and Barthes overcome their death by writing autobiographies characterized by appropriation, fragmentation, and simultaneity. Beyond theorizing about these themes, the project performs them in both sound and image. The image track was created using InDesign.
